John 1: 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
V 9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world
V12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
1John 1:5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
We believers are surrounded by darkness daily. It is so easy to be soiled and unaware unless you are having regular fellowship with the Lord.
It’s why The Body of Christ left here on earth is essential. We need to be reminded how amazing God is and how fragile we are, and we can see evidence of both in the lives of other believers.
But just imagined how amazing our lives can be when we come together with other Christians; all believing God; all walking in the Light and washed in the Blood! Nothing is impossible when we come together in this condition. Jesus said we would do greater things than what He accomplished in His earthly ministry!
1 Cor 10: 14 Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. 15 I speak as to wise men; judge for yourselves what I say. 16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? 17 For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread.
In that unity, we are a reflection of our Mighty God, and He cannot be vanquished.
