Confession

I have spoken incorrectly on doctrine. Let me publically repent (sorry, but it won't be too juicy). I have read 1 Corinthians 11 about eating the Lord's Supper unworthy, and interpretted this, that we should not be living in sin and eat communion. But the literal translation says not to eat the Lord's supper 'unworthily', which is an adverb describing the action. That means the word describes how the action (eating communion) is done. I have preached it as though it is an adjective describing a noun (meaning the condition of the consumer). To make it simple, don't eat communion not believing in Jesus, or not remembering Him as you do it. We are NEVER worthy by our efforts to partake in anything to do with God. We must remember Him as we do it because He has made us worthy by the shedding of his blood and the brokenness of His Body!!
