Luke 24:36
Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” 37 But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. 38 And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.”
1 Cor 15:20
But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.
God became Man; Jesus was fully God, able to live God’s perfect standard of righteousness; Jesus was fully man so he was able to die. He lived to fulfill the law and then shed His blood as payment for the sins of the whole world. He lives forever as the first fruits and perfect evidence that we have been redeemed from the corruptible and made incorruptible by This God-Man.
Rom 8:29
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Ephesians 1:13
In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.
Jesus, the physical man is proof as the first fruit; we will become like Him. Until then we have the Holy Spirit of God within of our promise of son-ship.
With promises form our God who cannot lie, let’s rest from stress and use that energy to abide in Him.
