Introduction

Life Span and Beyond means I want to talk about eternal things that have pertinence to the here and now.

Anyone over forty can tell you that this is a brief ride on the Big Blue Marble called earth, and if there is more to know than meets the eye, we had better hurry up and check it out, cause things are not moving any slower (watching Pixar animated Movies can be exhausting).

I think I have found the simple truth that makes sense of some unfathomable quandaries.

Jesus Christ came to the earth, fully God and fully man. He came for love. He came for redemption. He fulfilled all the requirements of perfect righteousness, to be called a worthy son of God. He died as our sin (how we fall short of perfection), and rose again in perfect righteousness. He has fulfilled the law for us and died in our place. What cinches the deal is that we believe Him, and receive what He has done for us by faith.

We live here in this world and get to know Him by His gift of faith. Our obligation? To be loved by Him, to love Him, and to love one another.

Consider this a place for you and me to get to know and love our God, and each other.
